Hallmarked english sterling silver thimble size 3 by JS&S for James Swann and Sons. The thimble has an all round enamelled band hand painted by Peter Swingler and signed PS in the laurels of George and Martha Washington and the 1776 Treaty of Independence 4th July 1776. The thimble is in very good condition.
